Elan is the visionary and founder of QuickRx pharmacy; he is responsible for the strategic planning and efforts that nurture the continuous growth and success of the QuickRx team. He is an accomplished CEO and pharmacist with over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Elan established his first pharmacy in 2001 and has since continued extending the reach of his pharmacies, and providing underserved neighborhoods with access to the medications they need. Always raising the standard for patient care, Elan acquired his first Long Term Care pharmacy in Florida in 2010. By 2011, Elan owned and operated over 22 pharmacies, which demonstrated his comprehensive knowledge and versatility in the pharmacy industry spanning from retail to specialty.
An active leader in his field, Elan is a member of organizations such as The American Pharmacist Association (APA), The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), and the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA). Through partnerships and joint ventures, Elan has invested in a multitude of healthcare related businesses including urgent care centers, assisted living facilities, and infusion centers.
Elan is an avid supporter of causes including cancer and HIV research; and a proud contributor to foundations and charities including the Lustgarten Foundation, Hormone Therapy Centers of America (HTCA), and The Bridge.
Dr. Andrew Wroblewski, a graduate of the University of Buffalo with a Doctorate of Pharmacy, joined the QuickRx team in February 2015. Dr. Wroblewski is a multi-state licensed pharmacist specializing in the fields of HIV, Oncology and Neurology. As QuickRx’s CPO, he is responsible for management, training, and implementation of patient adherence programs for QuickRx’s Specialty Pharmacy.
He is a born and raised resident of the Bronx and is committed to the betterment of underserved communities. Dr. Wroblewski interacts directly with patients, building lasting relationships and continuously improving operational aspects of our patient care programs. His determination to offer all of his patients quality care influences him in the facilitating of patient safety and patient care protocol.
Elena has been a member of the QuickRx Pharmacy team since March of 2009 and is an excellent example of QuickRx’s growth philosophy. When she first joined the team, Elena took on the role of Purchasing Specialist. While working as a Purchasing Specialist, she gained and cultivated knowledge imperative to the pharmaceutical field. Her steadfastness and attention to detail served her in acquiring her current role as Executive Vice President of Operations.
In her current role, Elena develops and nurtures 340B partnerships, and collaborates with hospitals, FQHCs and manufacturers on creating new distribution solutions to better serve our patients. Elena is an avid supporter of providing all children with access to free healthcare.
Elena attended the Moldova State University where she received a Bachelor’s of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in 2008. She is trilingual speaking the English, Russian, and Romanian languages.
Executive Vice President of Education and Quality Assurance
Gari Basin joined QuickRx in June of 2010 and quickly grew to the role of Executive Vice President of Education and Quality Assurance. Gari graduated Long Island University with a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy. Along with over 20 years of experience working as a pharmacist, Gari is an expert in servicing Long Term Care patients.
Gari is responsible for overseeing QuickRx’s quality assurance program and managing a URAC accredited pharmacy. He specializes in the Oncology, Psychiatry, Neurology and HIV fields; these interests lead him to develop partnerships with the Montefiore Wellness Center.
In addition to his continuous efforts in enhancing QuickRx’s patient care protocols, Gari is a proud hockey dad who never misses a game.
Lidiya joined the QuickRx team in 2009 after developing a new-found interest in the health industry. She is a graduate of one of Moscow’s top universities with a Master’s of Science in International Economics. As QuickRx’s Chief Compliance Officer, Lidiya manages QuickRx’s internal processes for ensuring our pharmacies are conducted in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. She works to ensure that QuickRx’s activities are consistent with the highest ethical standards; ensuring organizational compliance including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), Fraud Waste and Abuse (FWA), and Code of Conduct training.
Lidiya’s latest achievement was leading the QuickRx team’s URAC accreditation process.
